Babe Ruth Coaching Certification required for all travel team coaches this season.

Starting with the 2008 baseball season, ALL Winfield Baseball travel team Managers and Assistant Coaches must successfully complete the Babe Ruth coaching certification program and receive their coaching certification. The certification must be completed and provided to the Travel League Commissioner prior to your selection as a Travel Team Manager or Assistant Coach.  Certification for In House Rec Team Coaches is not mandatory. However, Rec Team Managers and Assistant Coaches are strongly encouraged to
also obtain the Babe Ruth coaching certification.  Completion of this program may factor into the decision the league makes regarding selection of coaches for the In-House Rec program.  Rec Team Coaches should have their completed certification sent to the leagues Athletic Director.  If you have any questions about this coaching certification program, please contact your appropriate league commissioner or the Athletic Director.  The link to the
